Bo

Parashas BO
Exodus 10:1 – 13:16

Please pray this prayer
before reading

In the name of Yahushua
Our Messiyah, (Jesus Christ)
I pray for the Spirit of Understanding
The Spirit of Knowledge and
 The Spirit of Wisdom
As I read through this Parashas

This Torah portion is the fifteen in the cycle, it is called Bo, which means to come referring to the first verse: Then יהוה said to Moses, come to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart.

The Torah says that when the CREATOR made this demand of Moses, the two of them were in Egypt, which means that even in the midst of our darkness HE is there. No matter how deeply mired we are in our own Egypt, according to the Esh Kodesh, a unique channel opens up each year on the Shabbat of Bo thanks to Messiyah Yahushua who act as a conduits for the CREATOR. By offering insights into the nature of revelation and by providing the service to Messiyah Yahushua our direct who sits at the Right Hand of ABBA YAHVEH, the Torah portion of Bo and the Shabbat gives us access to Light when we most need it.

This portion like all the others, the CREATOR will revealed to us the Light of the Word only according to our level of Spiritual Maturity or what I called our days of Creation. Which means that the CREATOR’S role in our lives is limited only by our ability to accept it?
The CREATOR is revealing HIMSELF to us at all times. Moses knew this, Jerimiyah knew this, which is why they sought out the Thorn Bush on the mountain, and Jeremyah saw the rod of an almond tree. Because Jeremiyah saw well, YAHVEH  hasten HIS Word to perform it.
When we truly believe the CREATOR is being revealed to us right where we are, HE will revealed HIMSELF  to us, much the same way HE hasten to revealed to Moses and Jeremiyah.
Now that we understand our limitation, why don’t we just ignore or limitation? The reason is simple, through our selfish ego, our self-serving actions stand in the way, creating a stumbling block between our me first mentality and a shift in spiritual consciousness. We can see the trees but not the forest, we cannot see through the darkned-glass. Instead of seeing the CREATOR in all things we see ourselves.

As believer who are experiencing the sixth days of Creation, on the first day we learn the all important lesson , to recognize light from darkness., meaning that the recognizing falsehood is as crucial as seeing the Truth. We must also remember that everything in the spiritual realm is a revelation of the Light of the CREATOR, which remind us that we need to make an all important distinction between physical desire and spiritual desire.

As human we are a network of desires. Our desires for pleasure and acceptance for example are physical. When we feel the desire to be accepted by our piers, we rightly think of this as our own desire. The error most believers make is applying the same to understanding to spiritual desires; we believe that when the desire to pray or fast that this is our own desire. It is not!

The fulfilling of any physical desires involves three steps: one, the desire, two, we act on the desire, three we succeed in satisfying the desire. In Spiritual matters steps one in never ours. It always come from the CREATOR. Just like Moses and Jeremiyah the desire comes from the CREATOR, the burning bush and the Almond tree.

Our desires comes to us in the form of feelings. For those of us who are not yet mature, it is not HIS Word he put in our mouth, it is HIS Desire that HE place within our Ego.
One of the lessons of this portion is that even though the CREATOR can be found in all things, the decision to seek HIM lies exclusively with us. To accomplish this, we have to make a change in our spiritual consciousness. We achieve this when we acknowledge that every thought, every situation hold a potential revelation from the CREATOR. The first seven commands represent the bottom seven Sefirot in the tree of life and the final three commandments, the top three Sefirot.

In this Parasha, the climax of Moses’ mission is impending. The last three plague, the commandment to sanctify the New Moon which establish the Spiritual calendar, the light governing Passover, and the sanctification of the first born are about to be revealed to Moses.

The first plague in this Parasha, that of Locusts, introduces a new element; EL YAHVEH tells Moses that He intends to make a mockery of Egypt by putting to rest the Haughty presumptuousness of Pharaoh and his cohorts, so that not only Egypt, but even the Children of Yisrael would know that EL YAHVEH, is MELECK in all the World.
The inclusion of the Children of Yisrael in this Parasha is to prove that that even believers are often not perfect in their faith.

Exo 10:1  And יהוה  said to Mosheh, ‘Come to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart and the hearts of his servants, so that I show these signs of Mine before him, - Moses was to come to Pharaoh with the eight finger of the Mighty Hand of YAHVEH and warned him of the impending eight plague. This message was also to Pharaoh Cabinet, those who advise him, those who had not yet turn away from him, those who still support his hardness of heart.

Exo 10:2 and that you relate in the hearing of your son and your son’s son what I have done in Mitsrayim, and My signs which I have done among them. And you shall know that I am יהוה .” – This incident became a text book lesson for humanity that EL YAHVEH is not an aloof Creator, but the Master of the Universe every day. This verse encapsulates the very essence of that concept, for it tells Yisrael that the miracle of the exodus; and to teach future generation that EL YAHVEH can toy with the most powerful kingdom at will, making a mockery of them.

Exo 10:3 And Mosheh and Aharon came in to Pharaoh and said to him, “Thus said יהוה  Elohim of the Heḇrews, ‘Till when shall you refuse to humble yourself before Me? Let My people go, so that they serve Me. – Over and over again the same lesson is been taught to us. That when one of the Mighty Hand, the Fivefold ministry speaks they must say “thus said EL YAHVEH.” This will always force us to speak the truth.
You Pharaoh have seen My total control of the elements and the atmosphere, upon which your very life is dependent, but you maintain your obstinacy. Reason apparently, has no effect on you. Consequently, the way to break your stubbornness may be through attrition, by subjecting you to a succession of plague.

The key to repentance and righteousness is submissiveness before EL YAHVEH. Because Pharaoh was haughty, he could not see the truth and would not bow to the Divine Will. He paid the price for his arrogance by having his country devastated and his army eventually drowned in the Red Sea.

The CREATOR revealed HIMSELF to us according to how much we are aware that HE is being revealed to us, which means that יהוה  role in our lives is limited only by or ignorance or faith. In truth, HE is revealing to us all the time. Moses was mature enough to know this, that is why he sought out the burning bush on the mountain. If we truly believe ABBA YAHVEH is being revealed to us right now, much the same way HE revealed HIMSELF to Moses.

Then why don’t we just put aside our ignorant, now that we know it is our unbelief? The reason is simple, though deeply rooted: Our ego stand in the way as a stumbling block between us and this life change paradise. We cannot replace ignorance with the certainty of the CREATOR because we cannot see through the darkness we draw to ourselves through our will to receive for selfish egotistical reasons.   Instead of seeing the CREATOR in all things, we see how can I be gratified in it.

How can we develop this vital aspect of our spiritual eyes. First, there are only two existences: Light and darkness, meaning that recognizing falsehood is as crucial as seeing the truth. Secondly, we must realize that everything is of a spiritual nature is a revelation of the light of the CREATOR, which reminds us that we need to make an all important distinction between physical desire and a spiritual desire.

Our desire for food for example is physical. When we feel the urge to eat an apple, that desire was created in our mind. The mistake we often make is applying this same principle to our spiritual desire; we believe that when we have the desire to pray or to share that this desire is our own. Fulfilling any desire involves a three step process: first, the desire is awakened within us, then we act on it, and finally we succeed in accomplishing whatever satisfies that desire. We need to be aware that when it comes to spiritual desire, the first step is not ours; it comes from the Holy Spirit. I woke up this morning and wanted to pray, not because I desire it but because the Holy Spirit came to me this morning, just as He did to the prophets of old and just as He is doing to you and me today.

Although most of us do not have visions like those of the prophets of old, eventually with the help of the Holy Spirit, we may. In the meantime, our vision comes in the form of feelings. To the prophets, the CREATOR said, “I will put my Words in your mouth.” For those of us who are not prophets, it is not יהוה Word that was places in our mouth, is the Holy Spirit, the Spirit that will led us into all truth, even of things to come.
Daniel the prophet acknowledges this when he said, “I saw the vision, and those who were with me did not, yet suddenly they became afraid.” Emotion is a lower level of revelation, which is why it was the experience of those around Daniel, who were not as spiritually mature as he was.

When we become aware of this truth and own it, we see that not one morning goes by without the CREATOR coming to us and saying here is MY Desire for you today; your job is to pat attention so we do not miss the CREATOR manifestation. The true secrets of the Torah are the personal revelation the CREATOR awakens in each of us. Every individual has a different revelation of the Light of the CREATOR while reading or studying the Torah under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, depending on the level of spiritual maturity.

After every spiritual exercise, we should take a moment or two to ask ourselves whether we grasp all of the spiritual benefits associated with that experience. This allows the awareness that everything is from the CREATOR, and it is there to bring us to maturity. When I ask what the Spirit of Understand has to say about the Torah portion Bo, this is not my thought, it is the CREATOR asking me to focus on the Spirit of Understand as I read HIS Words.

One of the lessons of this Torah Portion is that although the CREATOR can be found in all things, the decision to look for HIM lies in our mind. To do so, we have to we have to make a shift in consciousness. When we learn to acknowledge that every thought has a spiritual nature it is a direct revelation from ABBA YAHVEH, we will begin to rise to the level of the prophets.

How we think about our feelings also affect how much certainty we have, which in turn determines if those feelings reveals the Light of the Creator. If we have a feeling and act on it, but we are not sure whether this is the CREATOR’S impulse ore our own, darkness can enter our lives. If we are not sure, we can still choose to awaken the power of certainty, for if we realize that every feeling of awakening comes directly from the CREATOR, and then there is no opening for doubt. We can encourage this awakening consciousness within ourselves, not only for our own good, but for the good of others.

In any situation that the Holy Spirit is in, we have the ability to reveal and receive Light beyond our ordinary capacity, even when that capacity is enhanced by our awareness of the presence of the CREATOR. We have already seen an example of this: When we study Torah on our own, we can receive a certain revelation of the Light, but when we study together with others in unity, we can experience a new level of awakening, well beyond our individual understanding. When we teach others for the purpose of releasing the Light of the Word in them, the Holy Spirit cement that word in us.
The revelation of given to a teacher come in three level. First is the teacher Understanding, second is the teacher Knowledge and third is the teacher wisdom. Understand is first of all personal. Knowledge is the impartation of understanding, and wisdom is the exercise of knowledge. If we think that we are the one doing the teaching, we are in darkness, robbing the student and ourselves of the chance at additional light.

Torah teaches us in Malachi 2:7  for the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of YAHVEH of TSEBAOTE. This verse tells us that when we take on the task of teaching spiritual lessons, the YAHVEH reveals HIS Wisdom through us. We can become angels, messengers, if we have the correct spirit when we teach, at least for the time that we are teaching. We can elevate ourselves this way because what we are doing is not for ourselves. In the Torah portion of Shemot, ABBA YAHVEH gave Moses the ability to speak clearly while giving voice to prophecy, but when Moses was not speaking on ABBA YAHVEH’S behalf, his speech impediment returned.

Exo 10:4 ‘Or else, if you refuse to let My people go, see, tomorrow I am bringing locusts within your borders. -  We also see an example of Deuteronomy here 28:15 “But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of YAHVEH thy EL, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee: 16 Cursed salt thou be in the city, and cursed salt thou be in the field. 17 Cursed shall be thy basket and thy store. 18  Cursed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy land, the increase of thy family, and the flocks of thy sheep. 19 Cursed salt you be when thou comets in, and cursed salt you be when you goest out.

Exo 10:5 ‘And they shall cover the surface of the land, so that no one is able to see the land. And they shall eat the rest of what has escaped, which remains to you from the hail, and they shall eat every tree which grows up for you out of the field. – The progressive nature of the Plague is been described in this verse. What the first plague target is not the same as the objective of the eight plagues. The Egyptian gods that was been destroyed by the first plague is not the same god that is now been made to submit to EL YAHVEH. The systematic destruction of the deity’s in our lives is not a one-day activity; it depends on the different level of infestation.

This verse also describes the various steps spiritual warfare should take. After every booth of counseling, the counselor should go back to the counselee as Moses did to Pharaoh and say thus says YAHVEH, this is what is left to be done. Sometime the counselee might even harden their heart against the process, but a wise counselor like Moses, would know what to do.

Exo 10:6 ‘And they shall fill your houses, and the houses of all your servants, and the houses of all the Mitsrites, which neither your fathers nor your fathers’ fathers have seen, since the day that they were on the earth to this day.’ ” Then he turned and went out from Pharaoh. – From a counseling point of view, the infestation of one person in a family will have dire consequence on the entire family or organization. What Pharaoh is been told here that the spirit over him will affect the whole country of Egypt? There is a spiritual hierarchy as there are physical levels of authority.

Exo 10:7 And Pharaoh’s servants said to him, “Till when would this one be a snare to us? Let the men go, so that they serve יהוה  their Elohim. Do you not yet know that Mitsrayim is destroyed?” – if we continue to hang on to our sins, to our bad habits, there will be consequence to our action. Sometime the mirror to our soul is those who are right beside us. Yet too often we get upset if someone would dare to mention that we have a blemish on our character. Yet the best feedback is from those who are closest to us. I make it a policy to ask my friends to tell me about me, good or bad. I would sit down and objectively listen, then I would go to my Heavenly Father and ask Him is there any truth to this. This is the process of sacrificing my animal nature, objectively. When we learn to judge ourselves, we cannot be judge by anyone else.

Exo 10:8 And Mosheh and Aharon were brought back to Pharaoh, and he said to them, “Go, serve יהוה  your Elohim. Who are the ones that are going? – From a counseling point of view, the counselee may want to know which one of their character flaw the counselor wants to deal with. Which one do you want to remove! For too long that person would have lived and even feel comfortable with those demons. It is time to let them go, in order for the unsaved person to receive their blessings. But like Pharaoh may want to continue holding on to that which have served them for so long.

Exo 10:9 And Mosheh said, “We are going with our young and our old, with our sons and our daughters, with our flocks and our herds we are going, for we have a festival to יהוה .” Passover is around the corner, the world do not celebrate it. As believer we must insist that everyone in our household celebrate this very important event. It is EL YAHVEH Festival not ours!

Exo 10:10 And he said to them, “Let יהוה  be with you as I let you and your little ones go! Watch, for evil is before your face! -  Pharaoh answers them sarcastically, your evil intent will follow you, you are not telling me the truth, you are not planning on returning.

Exo 10:11 “Not so! You men go now, and serve יהוה , for that is what you desired.” And they were driven out from the presence of Pharaoh. – You want the opportunity to worship, then go! However, you have no reason to take your children that is why you will not be returning.

Exo 10:12 And יהוה  said to Mosheh, “Stretch out your hand over the land of Mitsrayim for the locusts to come upon the land of Mitsrayim, and eat every plant of the land – all that the hail has left.” – From a counseling perspective, it is the Mighty Hand of EL YAHVEH the office of: Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher that will help the individual come to maturity. It is our purpose to go into all the world, that what it mean to stretch our your hand.
When we stretch forth our hand there will be a consequence. When we go tell the world about our Lord and Savior, and they do not accept Him, some form of plague wills befalls those who refused. Trials cannot take place until the Word goes out. One of the reason why the world is not been judge is because believers refused to do their jobs, yet still they pray. Let thy kingdom come.

Exo 10:13 And Mosheh stretched out his rod over the land of Mitsrayim, and יהוה  brought an east wind on the land all that day and all that night. Morning came, and the east wind brought the locusts. – Notice after Moses stretch out the Mighty Hand of EL YAHVEH that the plague come, not before. The wind which is a represent of the Holy Spirit in Genesis, carries the locusts, it was not the Locus! It is the Holy Spirit that establishes the boundaries sets by EL YAHVEH in every thing that He does. It is the Spirit of the Word that governs every situation. It is the constitution of the Heavenly that determine what happens in every given situation. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the Word.

Exo 10:14 And the locusts went up over all the land of Mitsrayim and settled within all the borders of Mitsrayim, very grievous. There had never been locusts like them before, nor would there again be like them. – The total control the Holy Spirit has over ever facet of live. When we opposed Him we are been rebellious, and we are admonish not to grief the Holy Spirit.

Exo 10:15 And they covered the surface of all the land, so that the land was darkened. And they ate every plant of the land and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left, and no greenness was left on the trees or on the plants of the field, in all the land of Mitsrayim. As a member of the Mighty Hand when we allow the Holy Spirit to come into a situation, it will take total control, nothing will be miss by Him. He will remove any trees that does not bear fruit and prune those that bear fruit that they may bear more abundant fruits.

Exo 10:16 Pharaoh then called for Mosheh and Aharon in haste, and said, “I have sinned against יהוה  your Elohim and against you. – The Word of Elohim works both ways, it cut and it heals. It separates and it mends. Those who are being cut will find it very uncomfortable, very unnerving. They will send quickly for the Mighty Hand to stop the process, while those who are among the redeemed community will welcome the surgery, welcome the pruning, and welcome the correction.

Exo 10:17 “And now, please forgive my sin only this once, and pray to יהוה  your Elohim, that He would only turn away this death from me.” – Pharaoh’s request for forgiveness was in the singular, whereas his request for a prayer was in the plural. He apology was directed to Moses who he had come to venerate as his master. His plea that they prayed was addressed to both as a matter of courtesy, for Moses was the one who did the praying.
A Moses type ministry will always encourage people to go to EL YAHVEH with their prayers, however there are a large number of people who require a spiritual leader to pray for them. Even thought the prayer of a righteous man availed much. It is the duty of every believer to develop that prayer life by daily exercising it.

Exo 10:18 And he went out from Pharaoh and prayed to יהוה . - Mature believer when we are doing spiritual warfare, we need to do it in isolation. It is not for the ears of the general public. Even Messiyah Yahushua who took the Blind man into an isolated place and prayed forms him, Matt 8:23.

Exo 10:19 And יהוה  turned a very strong west wind, which took the locusts away and blew them into the Sea of Reeds. Not one locust was left within all the border of Mitsrayim.EL YAHVEH change His Spirit to a Spirit of Compassion and remove every single Locust. EL YAHVEH compassion is always completes. When He forgives, it is total.

Exo 10:20 However, יהוה  hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he did not let the children of Yisra’ĕl go. As a vessel used for dishonor, EL YAHVEH turn the heart of Pharaoh stone; the total dominance of the Holy Spirit. When we pray for the Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding, the Spirit of Counsel and Authority, the Spirit of Knowledge and the Fear of EL YAHVEH, we are praying for the very Spirit of Jesus Yahushua Himself.

Exo 10:21 And יהוה  said to Mosheh, “Stretch out your hand toward the Heavens, and let there be darkness over the land of Mitsrayim, even a darkness which is felt.” – The plague of darkness is a lack of light. The Light here speaks of the Light of the World, which is the Jesus Christ, El Yahushua. There will come a time when the Light of the world will be taken away, John  9:5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

Exo 10:22 And Mosheh stretched out his hand toward the Heavens, and there was thick darkness in all the land of Mitsrayim for three days.  - Three is one of the numbers that represent completeness. The actions of EL YAHVEH will complete that which it was design to accomplish. It will not return to Him void. Some will repent on the first day, some on the second day while some still will finally repent on the third day. Those who did not repent in that time period will need another harsher plague to create a change of mind.

Exo 10:23 They did not see one another, nor did anyone rise from his place for three days, while all the children of Yisra’ĕl had light in their dwellings. – No ore rise, no one change their spiritual profile, no one move from the carnal nature to the higher spiritual nature, except for those in Goshen. Those who had Torah written in their hearts, became a source of light for his family.

Exo 10:24 And Pharaoh called to Mosheh and said, “Go, serve יהוה , only leave your flocks and your herds behind. Let your little ones go with you too.”  - Slowly but surely Pharaoh was having a change of heart. Pharaoh in the sense represents those who have an extreme difficulty hearing the Word of EL YAHVEH. The many walls of separation had to be broken down one by one as these plague represent. We cannot be too judgmental when EL YAHVEH did what He did in Haiti. Some are made for honor some are for dishonor.

Exo 10:25 But Mosheh said, “You yourself are to provide us with slaughterings and burnt offerings, to prepare for יהוה  our Elohim. – Moses gave Pharaoh an olive branch. You Pharaoh give us sacrifice to present to EL YAHVEH. Join us; you do not have to go. We will do it on your behalf. When some one just comes to a saving grace, he or she will need someone to offer the sacrifice the proper way on his or her behalf. This is what Moses was suggesting to Pharaoh.

Exo 10:26 “And our livestock are to go with us too, not a hoof is to be left behind, for we have to take some of them to serve יהוה  our Elohim, and we ourselves do not know with what we are to serve יהוה  until we come there.”  - The uncompromised attitude of a believer is one of our strongest attribute. The Children of Yisrael had never kept Passover they did not know what had to be done.

Exo 10:27 However, יהוה  hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he would not let them go. The Spirit of EL YAHVEH knows the spirit of Pharaoh. 1Co 2:11  For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of YAHVEH knoweth no man, but the Spirit of YAHVEH. The Hardening of Pharaoh heart was deu to the general state of His heart, he believes but there is that strong tower that needs to be broken down. What is that strong tower that prevents believers from keeping the Sabbath day Holy? It is a lying spirit.

Exo 10:28 And Pharaoh said to him, “Get away from me! Watch yourself and see my face no more, for in the day you see my face you die!” EL YAHVEH strengthened Pharaoh Heart once again and he became more defiant than ever. For the first, he rejected Moses and threatened him with death if he dared appear again. Moses agrees, for there would be no need for him to keep ministering to Pharaoh. When we as believer reach to this stage it is similar to us removing the dust from our shoes. Mat 10:14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. 15  Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city. The spiritual death of a person is when the Holy Spirit is removed from that person. The Angel of death now has free access to that person life.

Exo 10:29 And Mosheh said, “You have spoken rightly – never again do I see your face!”  - In view of the extent of the suffering already inflicted upon Egypt Pharaoh audacity at this point seems incredible. The wicked will not repent even when they sand on the threshold of hell. The hearth of the disparately wicked person, one who sold his or her soul to the devil, their heart is so callus against the word that it does not matter what one says it will have no effect.

Chapter 11

Exo 11:1  And יהוה  said to Mosheh, “I am bringing yet one more plague on Pharaoh and on Mitsrayim. After that he is going to let you go from here. When he lets you go, he shall drive you out from here altogether. – One more Plague EL YAHVEH told Moses as he was being driven out by Pharaoh. After this, Pharaoh will be gladly to send you away. EL YAHVEH justice decrees that one who neglects the Torah because of wealth will ultimately neglect it even in poverty. What is the straw that breaks the camel back? There is a straw that breaks the Camel Back!

Exo 11:2 “Speak now in the hearing of the people, and let every man ask from his neighbor and every woman from her neighbour, objects of silver and objects of gold.” – In preperation to the final plague, EL YAHVEH is preparing the people to literally stripped Egypt of its goad and sivler. The wealth of the wicked is store up for the righteous.

Exo 11:3 And יהוה  gave the people favor in the eyes of the Mitsrites. And the man Mosheh was very great in the land of Mitsrayim, in the eyes of Pharaoh’s servants and in the eyes of the people. - EL YAHVEH gave favor to the righteous, in the eyes of the world yet we do not walk in the promises given to us. Yahushua (Jesus Christ) is our present day Moses the savior of the World. If we as believer were obedient to Yahushua we would be able to bankrupt the Lotto system. Every time the world would run their program the beliver would harvest it for the Kingdom.
The Egyptian People favored the Hebrew for their righteousness, and Moses for his greatness as a representive of EL YAHVEH.

Exo 11:4 And Mosheh said, “Thus said יהוה , ‘About midnight I am going out into the midst of Mitsrayim, - Moses now began to speak the Words EL YAHVEH had told him. The exact time and date, at mid night on the 14th day of the first month judgement will be served.

Exo 11:5 and all the first-born in the land of Mitsrayim shall die, from the first-born of Pharaoh who sits on his throne, even to the first-born of the female servant who is behind the handmill, and all the first-born of cattle. – All the first born in the land shall die, this include humans and animals, and yes the children of Yisrael also, if they did not obey the commandment and stayed inside. Why the first born, the first born of man and animals is what the Egyptian worship. Pharaoh was a former of god to the Egyptian; the death of His son would be a decisive blow to his ego.

Exo 11:6 ‘And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Mitsrayim, such as has never been or ever be again. – There is a great outcry right now in Haiti, for a country that is steep in voodoo. Thousand of Missanories had been there to preach the Word with very little effect.

Exo 11:7 ‘But against any of the children of Yisra’ĕl no dog shall move its tongue, against man or against beast, so that you know that יהוה  makes distinction between Mitsrayim and Yisra’ĕl.’ – In those countries who follow the True and Living Elohim, not even an unclean dog will lift a tongue against one of them. My EL YAHVEH had made a distinction between the saved and the unsaved. There is a spiritual DNA that our Creator have establish and there is nothing in existence that can or will go against it.

Exo 11:8 “And all these servants of yours shall come down to me and bow down to me, saying, ‘Get out, you and all the people at your feet!’ And after that I shall go out.” And he went out from Pharaoh in great displeasure. The fact that Pharaoh himself came running to Moses, out of respect for pharaoh crown, Moses did not mention him in this humiliating contex.
Since Pharaoh had been rude to Moses in the present of the servant, it was necessary according to the principle of measure for measure, for all of them to see his discomfort when he would be force to acknowledge Moses’ supremacy.

Exo 11:9 But יהוה  said to Mosheh, “Pharaoh is not going to listen to you, in order to multiply My wonders in the land of Mitsrayim.” – Logic would have dictate that after Moses’ predictions had been so accurately forecast, Pharaoh would have succumb upon hearing that wholesale death was in store. However, as EL YAHVEH now tells Moses, Pheraoh’s heart was being hardened because there was still wonders to be perform. These wonders were the plague of the Firstborn, the splitting of the Red Sea, and the drowning of the Egyptian solders.

Exo 11:10 And Mosheh and Aharon did all these wonders before Pharaoh, however, יהוה  hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he did not let the children of Yisra’ĕl go out of his land. – Although we have been told that many times that they did whatever YAHVEH command, it is repeated here as a prelude to the next chapter. Because Aaron work with Moses in proforming the Commandments, EL YAHVEH made them equal partners in receiving the first commandments given to Yisraelas a nation.

Chapter 12

The next 28 verse of this chapter interrupt the narrative that had been leading up to the 10 plague. In them, the Torah presents the commandments in whose merit the nation become worthy of their liberation from Egypt, and which, for the rest of its history, would commemorates this event. These include the sanctification of the New Moon, the Passover offering, the Passover Feast as it was observed in Egypt, and the general laws of the Passover feast.

Exo 12:1  And יהוה  spoke to Mosheh and to Aharon in the land of Mitsrayim, saying, - Because man is distant from the CREATOR, ABBA YAHVEH  have to speak to us audiably, when we are in the Heavens, we will know what HE know and do what HE does.

Exo 12:2This month is the beginning of months for you, it is the first month of the year for you. – Rosh Chodesh the New Moon, is the very first commandment given to the Nation of Yisrael as a whole, an indication that the concept of Rush Chodesh, or New Moon, is very meaningful.
Over a thousand years later while in the land, during the Syrian-Greek persecution that culminate in the miracle of Chanukah, Rosh Chodesh was one of only three commandments whose observance the oppressors prohibited. The other two were were Sabbath and Circumcision.
Rosh Codesh must be proclaim based on two witnesses who observed the re-appearance of the moon, and upon this proclamation, the Hebrew calendar is based. Unless the new months can be proclaimed there is no calendar, and without a calendar there can be no festivals.

If the Syrian-Greeks had succeeded in eradicating the observance of New Moon they would have succeeded in eliminating a large number of the other commandments. On a deeper level, the new moon symbolizes renewal, the ability of the Hebrew people to rise up from oblivion and restore itself to its past glory. Just as the Moon disappears at the end of each month, but returns and grows to fullness, so the Hebrew people may suffer exile and decline, but it always renew itself.

This concept of Hebrew renewal was what the Syrian- Greeks attempted to eradicate by ending the observation of Rosh Codesh, New Moon. Instead, the Hebrew people rose up in defence of the Torah and the Temple, and their triumph is commemorated through Chanukah, the festival of renewal. The Hebrew calendar is based on the moon, and it is regulated by the sun. The time span between one new moon and the next is twenty-nine days, twelve hours, forty-four minutes, and 3.5 second. Since each year is eleven days less than the solar year, the solar date of Rosh Chodesh would be about eleven days earlier each year. The Barlie harvest is used to signify which year is a leap year.

The Hebrew month of Nissan in which the commandment was given, is to be the first month in the Hebrew calendar. Even though the Torah begins on the seventh month of Tishrei, the month are numbered from the month marks by the Exidos. Similarly the day of the week are marked in relation to the Sabbath. This day testifies to EL YAHVEH who created the world in sixth days.
The term for you stresses a new relationship between Hebrew people and time. As slaves in Egypt time belong to their master, not to them, for they did not have the freedom to act as they please or when they please. But from now on the Hebrew people would be master of their own time. Time is an active component of change, for without time there can be no change. Thinge that are perfect does not operate in time, since it cannot change. The Sabbath hold to the same principle, we observe the Sabbath as a sign that we require to come into YAHVEH fullnessm HIS perfection.

As believers we experience time on our journey back to the seventh heaven, that is why we are given three score years and ten for our life here on earth, and we are given cycleof seven days and seven years.

Exo 12:3Speak to all the congregation(Assembly) of Yisra’ĕl, saying, ‘On the tenth day of this month each one of them is to take for himself a lamb, according to the house of his father, a lamb for a household. - In the mouth of two or three witnesses let every thing be establish, Moses and Aaron were to convey to the Children of Yisrael this new commandment. The assembly is a group united by a common name caled the Chosen People, Yisrael.
On the first day of the month Moses and Aaron issue the commandment that the animals be designated on the tenth of the Month. It could be either a lamb or a kid, sheep or goat. The offering would be brought on the afternoon of the fourteenth, to be sacrifice.

Exo 12:4 And if the household is too small for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next to his house take it according to the number of the beings, according to each man’s need you make your count for the lamb. - The sacrifice animal was to be chosen according to the size of the family. Accordingly the size of the Lamb would be calculated according to how much they can eat. 10 people to every lamb. John 12: 1-2  Then Yahushua six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead. There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him. This was the 8 day of Nissan 6 days before Passover. John 12:12-13  On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Yahushua was coming to Yerusalem,  Too3 branches of palm trees and went fort1 to meet Him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Yisrael that cometh in the name of YAHVEH.  And Yahushua when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written, Fear not, daughter of Zion; behold, thy King cometh, sitting of an ass's colt4  These things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Yahushua  was glorified, then remembered they that these things were writte5 of  his and that they had done these things unto him. This was the day in which Yahushua was chosen as the Lamb to be slayen, four days before Passover. On his triumphant entry in Yerusalem they sang Psalm 118. This is called the HaliluYah song. When the lambs were being brought into the Temple through the North gate, Yahushua was entering through the east gate at the same time.
Exo 12:5 Let the lamb be a perfect one, a year old male. Take it from the sheep or from the goats. – There must be no blemish on the animal, atless one year old male. This scripture speak of Messiyah Yahushua as our Lamb chosen on what Christian called Palm Sunday. All the Lamb that was to be slayen was born in Beytlechem, where the Messiyah Yahushua was also born. Mark 12:13 they send our spies to find fault with Yahushua and they found none. Luke 23:4 Pilate said he find no fault with Yahushua. The mouth of two witness let everything be establish.

Exo 12:6 And you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month. Then all the assembly of the congregation of Yisra’ĕl shall kill it between the evenings. – This animal must be kept from the tenth untill the fourteen without food or water, for it must be cook with its intestine intact. If the Lamb was chosen on the 10th the Sunday it should have been killed on the 14th the Wednesday, not good Friday.
During that four day, the animal must be check for blemishes that would disqualify it as an offering. The afternoon, between the evenings. This is the time when the noontime sun begins to dip toward the horizon, and before it sets below the horizon.

Exo 12:7And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses where they eat it. – The Blood of Yahushua our Messiyah is now the Blood of Choice, we may still place the blood of the lamb symbolically on our doorpost if we choose.

Exo 12:8And they shall eat the flesh on that night, roasted in fire – with unleavened bread and with bitter herbs they shall eat it. – Notice the perquisite for the supper. Roasted Lamb, unleavened bread, and bitter herbs.

Exo 12:9 Do not eat it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roasted in fire, its head with its legs and its inward parts. - The condition, do not eat it raw, nor boiled, only roaster in fire. Its head with its legs and its intestine still in tact.

Exo 12:10And do not leave of it until morning, and what remains of it until morning you are to burn with fire. - The leftover must be burn in the morning.

Exo 12:11 ‘And this is how you eat it: your loins girded, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. And you shall eat it in haste. It is the Passover of יהוה . The condition of each person must have their lions girded, their sandal or shoes on their feet, ready to move.
This is prophetic, as Passover is a time when we move from one level of spiritual development to the next. Like a tree that goes through physical seasons, we too as a believer goes through spiritual seasons, and Passover is one of those spiritual milestone in every believers life.

Exo 12:12 ‘And I shall pass through the land of Mitsrayim on that night, and shall smite all the first-born in the land of Mitsrayim, both man and beast. And on all the mighty ones of Mitsrayim I shall execute judgment. I am יהוה . – The angel of death shall go through the land and He shall strike all those who are found outside of Yahushua the Messiyah (Jesus Christ), those who did not have the blood of Yahushua on their heart.
Even those who have contest Jesus Christ as Lord if they are found outside on that night, they will be subjected to the mercy of the Angel of Death. One might not die physically, however the spiritual fruits they should have produce that year will be lost. That is why you will see a Christian who professes Jesus Christ as Lord, those who do not keep Passover, they will never grow spiritually.

Exo 12:13 ‘And the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I shall pass over you, and let the plague not come on you to destroy you when I smite the land of Mitsrayim. – The blood of Yahushua (Jesus Christ) shall be a sign for us on our house or anywhere we are. When the Angel see the blood of Yahushua, He will pass over us. But the unsaved will not be protected from spiritual death.

Exo 12:14And this day shall become to you a remembrance. And you shall observe it as a festival to יהוה  throughout your generations – observe it as a festival, an everlasting law. – This day shall be a reminder to us, forever; it is to be observed as a time of celebration, a graduation, from death unto life, from one stage of spiritual development to the next.

Exo 12:15 ‘Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. Indeed on the first day you cause leaven to cease from your houses. For whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that being shall be cut off from Yisra’ĕl. - After Passover, you shall eat unleavened bread for seven days after that, starting on the day after Passover.
Passover is not a Holy days so to speak. But the day after Passover is Holy Convocation.

Exo 12:16 ‘And on the first day is a set-apart gathering, and on the seventh day you have a set-apart gathering. No work at all is done on them, only that which is eaten by every being, that alone is prepared by you. On the first day after Passover and on the seventh day after, are both Holy Days. No work is to be done.

Exo 12:17 ‘And you shall guard the Festival of Unleavened Bread, for on this same day I brought your divisions out of the land of Mitsrayim. And you shall guard this day throughout your generations, an everlasting law. We are admonish to guard this festival. Why would EL YAHVEH make such an effort to tell us this; unless He knew that we would disobey this commandment as our Christian brothers did? It is an everlasting Law, that means that it cannot be destroyed, or change, or it should not be disregarded.

Exo 12:18 ‘In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, in the evening, you shall eat unleavened bread until the twenty-first day of the month in the evening.EL YAHVEH repeats the commandment that we will remember. In the mouth of two witnesses let everything be established.

Exo 12:19For seven days no leaven is to be found in your houses, for if anyone eats what is leavened, that same being shall be cut off from the congregation of Yisra’ĕl, whether sojourner or native of the land. - Leaven is known as silent influence. Things that effect us and we do not even know it. Each year we are to examine our selves at this time and remove all leaven from our lives, this is a time of introspection. What is in me that cause me to react in this manner.
The manner we remove last year from our lives should not be the same manner we remove again next year. The process of overcoming applies to this feast.
If I over come greed this year, I should overcome selfishness next year. If we continue on this path pretty soon we will not have any more sin to overcome.

Exo 12:20 ‘Do not eat that which is leavened – in all your dwellings you are to eat unleavened bread.’  The seven deadly sins are what we are called to remove from our lives. They are:
§       Day 1 – Adultery             -         Spirit of YAHVEH
§       Day 2 – Idolatry             -         Spirit of Wisdom
§       Day 3 – witchcraft           -         Spirit of Understanding
§       Day 4 – hatred               -         Spirit of Counsel
§       Day 5 – Sedition             -         Spirit of Might
§       Day 6 – Envying              -         Spirit of Knowledge
§       Day 7 – Drunkenness      -         Spirit of the Fear of YAHVEH

The replacements to those sins are the seven Spirit of EL YAHVEH found to the right above. Those seven Spirits are the Symbol of a mature believer.

Exo 12:21 And Mosheh called for all the elders of Yisra’ĕl and said to them, “Go out and take lambs for yourselves according to your clans, and slaughter the Passover lamb. – Those who have lambs shall slather it, those who do not have shall purchase one. In the principle of the Passover Lamb there are two sacrifices. One is the cost of the Lamb, by those who are making the sacrifice, and the life of the Lamb. When we sin, the cost of the sin offering must be paid by the guilty party, the lamb must give its life in exchange for us.
This principle has not change. Most Christian believes that because Jesus Christ died on the Cross He paid it all. That is so not true. The only thing Jesus Christ has paid is the price of the penalty of death. We must still as believer pay the cost of the sacrifice, not the price for death.

Exo 12:22 “And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin, and you, none of you shall go out of the door of his house until morning. The use of hyssop is for the purification procedure of a metzora symbolizes the idea of humility on the part of the guilty party. By using abunch of hyssop to apply the blood, the Hebrew people demonstrated their acknowledgement that only EL YAHVEH’s intervention could redeem us from Egypt.
The blood from the Passover offering neck, should be collect into a basin, into which the hyssop would be dipped three separate times for application to the  lintel and door post.
You shall not leave your dwelling. Since it is night time when the destroyer  has permitted to kill, he does not differentiate between righteous and wicked. Even righteous people cannot expose themselves to mortal danger and expect to be saved.

Exo 12:23 And יהוה  shall pass on to smite the Mitsrites, and shall see the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, and יהוה  shall pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to smite you. - Any Hebrew person who leaves the protection of his premises is in danger; Hebrew people who venture outside forfeited the protection of the Passover Lamb.

Exo 12:24 “And you shall guard this word as a law for you and your sons, forever. This is not a Jewish thing! It is a redemption thing! Anyone who wishes to leave Egypt must undergo the same principle spiritually. This is part of the Constitution of the Redeemed community. In this verse we are told to guide this principle, Why? ABBA YAHVEH knew that some time in the future believers would neglect this commandments in exchange for good Friday.

Exo 12:25 “And it shall be, when you come to the land which יהוה  gives you, as He promised, that you shall guard this service.Even after leaving Egypt, this principle is still in effect forever.

Exo 12:26 “And it shall be, when your children say to you, ‘What does this service mean to you?’ We must teach it to our children Children forever.

Exo 12:27 then you shall say, ‘It is the Passover slaughtering of יהוה , who passed over the houses of the children of Yisra’ĕl in Mitsrayim when He smote the Mitsrites and delivered our households.’ ” And the people bowed their heads and did obeisance. – It is incumbent of all belivers to pass on the wonderful story of our redemption from sin. This one night set apart from all other, when the angel of death will passover that night, those who are not part of the redeemed community will be outside doing there own thing. The buds of the fruit of the spirit will be destroyed, and that person even if they are saved will not bare the required fruit of the Spirit for that year.
§            Week 1 – Adultery        -         Spirit of YAHVEH
§            Week 2 – Idolatry        -         Spirit of Wisdom
§            Week 3 – witchcraft      -         Spirit of Understanding
§            Week 4 – hatred          -         Spirit of Counsel
§            Week 5 – Sedition        -         Spirit of Might
§            Week 6 – Envying         -         Spirit of Knowledge
§            Week 7 – Drunkenness -         Spirit of the Fear of YAHVEH

Exo 12:28 And the children of Yisra’ĕl went away and did so – as יהוה  had commanded Mosheh and Aharon, so they did. – Notice those who are part of the Commonwealth of Yisrael did what Moses the Phophet has said. Those believers today who seems to think that they had replace the Nation of Yisrael, call themselves gentiles will never come into the fulness of EL YAHVEH.

Exo 12:29 And it came to be at midnight that יהוה  smote all the first-born in the land of Mitsrayim, from the first-born of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the first-born of the captive who was in the dungeon, and all the first-born of livestock. – The first born of every woman died. It is apparent that Pharaoh was not the first-born child, or maybe the first-born son. If a man had more than one wife, the first born, the one who open the womb would die, during this 10th plague. Therefore no house in all of Egypt was spared.

Exo 12:30 And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he and all his servants, and all the Mitsrites. And there was a great cry in Mitsrayim, for there was not a house where there was not a dead one. The children of darkness have no problem been awake at night.

Exo 12:31 Then he called for Mosheh and Aharon by night, and said, “Arise, go out from the midst of my people, both you and the children of Yisra’ĕl. And go, serve יהוה  as you have said. The question I would like to know? Did Moses travel that night? Or did Pharaoh send him a message for Him to leave Egypt. Pharaoh arrogant defiance was complete broken by now.
Not only was he anxious that the people leave Egypt immediately, he had withdrawn all previous conditions. Gone was his insistence that the children remain behind. Now he was urging Moses and Aaron to do what they please. Bless me in the process.

Exo 12:32 “Take both your flocks and your herds, as you have said, and go. Then you shall bless me too.” – You condition have been met, now go and bless me as you depart.

Exo 12:33 And the Mitsrites urged the people, to hasten to send them away out of the land. For they said, “We are all dying!” – Those who survive the plague were in such a dire state that they were nothing more than living dead. Nothing more cound be done for them spiritually.

Exo 12:34 And the people took their dough before it was leavened, having their kneading bowls bound up in their garments on their shoulders.-  In Egypt there were no requirement that the people refrain from eating or having chamez in their possession for seven days consequently, they would have allowed the dough to become leavened, had the Egyptian not forced them to leave so quickly. In a hurry the people packed to leave Egypt. The process for leaven the dough took some time, the order to leave Egypt came before the customary leavening of the dough.

Exo 12:35 And the children of Yisra’ĕl had done according to the word of Mosheh, and they had asked from the Mitsrites objects of silver, and objects of gold, and garments. The plundering of Egypt started, the walking dead had no need for gold and silver, it is the redeemed community who need it to build the Tabernacle that was to start construction about a year later.

Exo 12:36 And יהוה  gave the people favor in the eyes of the Mitsrites, so that they gave them what they asked, and they plundered the Mitsrites. We the Childen of Yisrael need to ask for favior from the EL YAHVEH as we plunder the World for the Kingdom.

Exo 12:37 And the children of Yisra’ĕl set out from Raʽmeses to Sukkoth, about six hundred thousand men on foot, besides the little ones. - The huge number of about 600,000 men, which did not allow for women and Children, and elders.  It also indicates the nation’s inspiring faith in EL YAHVEH, for they follow Moses and Aaron into the Wilderness, where the lack of food would have terrified anyone who was not prepared to rely on EL YAHVEH.
Centuries later EL YAHVEH would cite this faith to Jeremiah as an unforgettable merit of the young nation. 2:2 'This is what YAHVEH says: I remember the unfailing loyalty of your youth, the love you had for me as a bride. I remember how you followed me into the desert, into a land that couldn't be farmed.

Exo 12:38 And a mixed multitude went up with them too, also flocks and herds, very much livestock. Those Egyptian who had listen to Moses and protect their flock left Egypt with great position. There were to become part of the commonwealth of Yisrael.

Exo 12:39 And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they had brought out of Mitsrayim, for it was not leavened, since they were driven out of Mitsrayim, and had not been able to delay, nor had they prepared food for themselves. – They had to prepare foof for themselves, even if the dough was not leven it still had to be baked. Out of necissety EL YAHVEH create a spiritual lesson for all to learn. Or was is part of the Divine plan all along. I say both!

Exo 12:40 And the sojourn of the children of Yisra’ĕl who lived in Mitsrayim was four hundred and thirty years. This verse gives us the length of the stay in Egypt at 430.

Exo 12:41 And it came to be at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, on that same day it came to be that all the divisions of יהוה  went out from the land of Mitsrayim. Again the 430 years was repeated; what happen at the end of the 430 years was used as an example for all future generation as an example the Children of Yisrael.

Exo 12:42 It is a night to be observed unto יהוה  for bringing them out of the land of Mitsrayim. This night is unto יהוה , to be observed by all the children of Yisra’ĕl throughout their generations. Once again a repeat of the commandment to observe this date, the Passover as an everlasting covenant by EL YAHVEH people as a reminder.

Exo 12:43 And יהוה  said to Mosheh and Aharon, “This is the law of the Passover: No son of a stranger is to eat of it, - this Commandment was for future generation. No one who is not a part of the Nation of Yisrael, should not partake of it. No unsaved person should celebrate the departure from a life of sin.

Exo 12:44 but any servant a man has bought for silver, when you have circumcised him, then let him eat of it. – The term circumcised is a term used for a converted person, even if he or she is a slave, they too have the right to partake of the Passover Feast. A servant usually follow the rituals of the master, therefore he or she would be a sabbath keeper, kosher eater person. A servant is one who, for whatever reason find themselves financial obligated to another person and place themselves on that person authority is who lived under the same roof, should be circumcised.

Exo 12:45 “A sojourner and a hired servant does not eat of it. – Person who is just a temporary worker or a person who is just passing through are prohibited from partaking in the Passover Feast.

Exo 12:46 “It is eaten in one house, you are not to take any of the flesh outside the house, nor are you to break any bone of it. - It must be eaten in one house, it is not to be taken in a dogy bag for the next day lunch. It must be partake that very night. The bones of the Lamb must not be broken or should not be cut.

Exo 12:47 “All the congregation of Yisra’ĕl are to perform it. - This is law for all of the Children of Yisrael. There are no exception.

Exo 12:48 “And when a stranger sojourns with you and shall perform the Passover to יהוה , let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and perform it, and he shall be as a native of the land. But let no uncircumcised eat of it.Every male who partake of the Passover must be circumcised literally and spiritually. As the male is the head of their respective family, if they reside under the authority of a master, he is subjugated to the master. A sojourner is a Gentile, he may partake of the Passover when he has convert and establish a covenant with EL YAHVEH.

Exo 12:49 “There is one Torah for the native-born and for the stranger who sojourns among you.”  - The same rule for the Children of Yisrael is the same rule for the stranger. Those who say that the Old Testament is for the Jews and the New Testament is for the Christian are false teachers of the Word.

Exo 12:50 And all the children of Yisra’ĕl did as יהוה  commanded Mosheh and Aharon, so they did. Those who are true Children of Yisrael will do all that EL YAHVEH taught Moses and Aaron.

Exo 12:51 And it came to be on that same day that יהוה  brought the children of Yisra’ĕl out of the land of Mitsrayim according to their divisions. – The night of their freedom was on the 14 day of the first month, the month of Nissan (Abib). They did not begin their journey to the Promise Land, one of the symbols of maturity until the next day.
This also speaks volume to us as believers today, the day we get saved, the journey begins, not the next week or the next month, we need to leave Egypt the symbol of sin and captivity immediately.

Chapter 13

Exo 13:1  And יהוה  spoke to Mosheh, saying, - The term and EL YAHVEH spoke to Moses, saying, seems to be the words of choice for the beginning of each chapter. This is to remind us that this is not Moses words but the Words of EL YAHVEH Himself.

Exo 13:2 “Set apart to Me all the first-born, the one opening the womb among the children of Yisra’ĕl, among man and among beast, it is Mine.” This is what the EL of all Elohim have to say: From among my Holy People Set apart or make Holy all first-born, the one that come from the womb first. This verse does not stipulate either male or female, just the word first born.

Exo 13:3 And Mosheh said to the people, “Remember this day in which you went out of Mitsrayim, out of the house of slavery. For by strength of hand יהוה  brought you out of this place, and whatever is leavened shall not be eaten. – Moses did what he was told to say by EL YAHVEH. He then repeated to the people the command to keep holy the day the journey began, the first day of unleavened bread, the day after Passover.
From this day on for the next seven days, a new diet is arrange unleavened bread, the uncontaminated Word of Torah is to be our only diet.

Exo 13:4 “Today you are going out, in the month Aḇiḇ. – the month of Abib is name after the abib barley harvest that turn white every first month of the year. It is the first sign for the bigining of the first month; the next sign is the new moon. Without these two visible sign the new year cannot begins.

Exo 13:5 “And it shall be, when יהוה  brings you into the land of the Kenaʽanites, and the Ḥittites, and the Amorites, and the Ḥiwwites, and the Yeḇusites, which He swore to your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, that you shall keep this service in this month. The Barley harvest turning abib and the New Moon, we will know that 14 days from the sighting of the new moon is YAHVEH Passover. In the mouth of two witness let every thing be establish.

Exo 13:6 “Seven days you eat unleavened bread, and on the seventh day is a festival to יהוה . For the next seven days after Passover the new believer who just gave is heart to Yahushua (Jesus Christ) must embark on a diet of Torah, the uncontaminated Work of EL YAHVEH. The first and the seventh day are considered to be Holy Day. The first day is when the journey began and the seven day is when they cross the Red Sea another mile stone.

Exo 13:7 “Unleavened bread is to be eaten the seven days, and whatever is leavened is not to be seen with you, and leaven is not to be seen with you within all your border. If you are a new convert or an experience convert, the same rules apply. The seven days between the 1st and 7th day is a time of introspection. To look back on our lives and confess our sins, so that when we go through the Red Sea a form of Water Baptism, the things we repent off will be wash away as Pharaoh’s army got wash away. Never to be seen again.

These seven days are like pruning of a tree, all dead branches must be removed, and those live branches are prune even further so they may bear good fruits. Passover can be seeing in the life of Yahushua (Jesus Christ) by the Blood that plow from His feet that give us our initial salvation. The Blood and the Water that flow from His Side represent the Red Sea experience. It is this Blood that covers and the Water that washes away our sins. It is this water that Yahushua (Jesus) used to wash our hand our work, and our feet our daily walk.

Exo 13:8 “And you shall inform your son in that day, saying, ‘It is because of what יהוה  did for me when I came up from Mitsrayim.’- We shall inform our children in our life time, that these feast days are visible sign or potential revelation of the provision EL YAHVEH have provide for us, to take us out of sin (Egypt) by a Mighty Hand of the Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher; destine for the Promise Land.

Exo 13:9 “And it shall be as a sign to you on your hand and as a reminder between your eyes, that the Torah of יהוה  is to be in your mouth, for with a strong hand יהוה  has brought you out of Mitsrayim. This shall be the purpose for which you will strive or work every day; this shall also be the mindset that dominate your thinking. That the Torah is the Constitution of the People of Yisrael, which we are apart of the day we became saved, the day we place the Blood over the Door Post.

Exo 13:10 And you shall guard this law at its appointed time from year to year. – We shall guard this Principle and make it our Ultimate Destination, to full fill all that we have been commanded by Moses to do.

Exo 13:11 “And it shall be, when יהוה  brings you into the land of the Kenaʽanites, as He swore to you and your fathers, and gives it to you, - Here is the conclusion of the Story. EL YAHVEH says He will bring you into the Land, Full Maturity. He who starts a good work in me is faithful to complete it. This verse did not say He would, it says when. It is up to us weather or not we will reach the promise land or will we die in the wilderness.

Exo 13:12 that you shall pass over to יהוה  every one opening the womb, and every first-born that comes from your livestock, the males belong to יהוה . – Here is another Principle of the Kingdom of Heavens. All First Born, the one who comes out of the womb first animals both male and female and the first-born human male, belong to EL YAHVEH. In Exodus 13:2 the verse did not specified male child only, this is another Torah Principle, one of Progressive revelation. As human we grow in progression like a tree, growing bigger and bigger each year.

Exo 13:13 But every first-born of a donkey you are to ransom with a lamb. And if you do not ransom it, then you shall break its neck. And every first-born of man among your sons you are to ransom. – Since the first born of all animals, male or female belong to EL YAHVEH. If a man only has one donkey that just give birth to a colt of a donkey. If the person requires to keep it for himself, He must pay a ransom for it. If the person cannot afford to pay the ransom he must go to the priest who will determine a suitable price for the Colt. It this cannot be done the neck of the colt must be broken for we have denied the Priest his livelihood.
The Ransom for a first-born male child, shall also be made. Notice that the price for the redemption for the First-born male was not given.

Exo 13:14And it shall be, when your son asks you in time to come, saying, ‘What is this?’ then you shall say to him, ‘By strength of hand יהוה  brought us out of Mitsrayim, out of the house of bondage. – EL YAHVEH knew that in the future some of our rebellious children would want to know why? We must tell them that is was by the Mighty Hand of EL YAHVEH I was taken out of sin and set on the right path to spiritual maturity.

Exo 13:15And it came to be, when Pharaoh was too hardened to let us go, that יהוה  killed every first-born in the land of Mitsrayim, both the first-born of man and the first-born of beast. Therefore I am slaughtering to יהוה  every male that open the womb, but every first-born of my sons I ransom.

Exo 13:16And it shall be as a sign on your hand and as frontlets between your eyes, for by strength of hand יהוה  brought us out of Mitsrayim.” – This is something I must do, and must always keep in my mind, that by the Grace of EL YAHVEH I was brought out of sin into a wonderful life, filled with infinite possibility.

Haftarah
Yirmeyahu Jeremiyah 46:13-28

Jeremiyah 46:13The word that ABBA YAHVEH spake to Jeremiah the prophet, how Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon should come and smite the land of Egypt. - In these verses we have, the confusion and terror spoken to Egypt. The accomplishment of the prediction in the former part of the chapter disabled the Egyptians from making any attempts upon other nations; for what could they do when their army was routed? But still they remained strong at home, and none of their neighbors make any attempts against them. Though the kings of Egypt did not venture out of their land (2 Ki. 24:7), yet they were kept safe and easy in their land; and what would they desire more than peaceably to enjoy their own?

One would think all men should be content to do so, not to covet by invade their neighbors. But the measure of Egypt’s iniquity is full, and now they shall not long enjoy their own; those that encroached on others shall not be themselves encroached on.

The scope of the prophecy here is to show how the king of Babylon should shortly come and smite the land of Egypt, and bring the war into their own bosoms which they had formerly carried into the borders of other countrys. This was fulfilled by the same hand with the former, even Nebuchadnezzar’s, but many years after, twenty at least, and probably the prediction of it was long after the former prediction, and perhaps about the same time with that other prediction of the same event which we had ch. 43:10.

Jeremiyah 46:14 Declare ye in Egypt, and publish in Migdol, and publish in Noph and in Tahpanhes: say ye, Stand fast, and prepare thee; for the sword shall devour round about thee. – . Here is the alarm of war sounded in Egypt, to their great amazement , notice given to the country that the enemy is approaching, the sword is devouring round about in the neighbouring countries, and therefore it is time for the Egyptians to put themselves in a posture of defence, to prepare for war, that they may give the enemy a warm reception. This must be proclaimed in all parts of Egypt, particularly in Migdol, Noph, and Tahpanhes, because in these places especially the Jewish refugees, or fugitives rather, had planted themselves, in contempt of God’s command (ch. 44:1), and let them hear what a sorry shelter Egypt is likely to be to them.

Jeremiyah 46:15 Why are thy valiant men swept away? they stood not, because ABBA YAHVEH did drive them. The retreat hereupon of the forces of other nations which the Egyptians had in their pay is here foretold. Some considerable number of those troops, it is probable, were posted upon the frontiers to guard them, where they were beaten off by the invaders and put to flights. Then were the valiant men swept away  as with a sweeping rain (it is the word that is used Prov. 28:3); they can none of them stand their ground, because EL YAHVEH drives them from their respective posts; he drives them by his terrors; he drives them by enabling the Chaldeans to drive them. It is not possible that those should fix whom the wrath of YAHVEH chases.

Jeremiyah 46:16 He made many to fall, yea, one fell upon another: and they said, Arise, and let us go again to our own people, and to the land of our nativity, from the oppressing sword. - It was  ASBBA YAHVEH( that made many to fall, yea, when their day shall come to fall, the enemy needs not throw them down, they shall fall one upon another, every man shall be a stumbling-block to his fellow, to his follower. If YAHVEH TSEBAOTE please, they shall be made to fall upon one another, they shall be made to fall upon one another, every man’s sword shall be against his fellow. Her hired men, the troops Egypt has in he service, are indeed in the midst of her like fatted bullocks, lusty men, able bodied and high spirited, who were likely for action and promised to make their part good against the enemy.

They are turned back; their hearts failed them, and, instead of fighting, they have fled away together. How could they withstand their fate when the day of their calamity had come, the day in which YAHVEH TSEBAOTE will visit them in wrath? Some think they are compared to fatted bullocks for their luxury; they had wantoned in pleasures, so that they were very unfit for hardships, and therefore turned back and could not stand. In this consternation,
They all made homeward towards their own country: They said, "Arise, and let us go again to our own people, where we may be safe from the oppressing sword of the Chaldeans, that bears down all before it.’’ In times of exigence little confidence is to be put in mercenary troops, that fight purely for pay, and have no interest in theirs whom they fight for.

Jeremiyah 46:17 They did cry there, Pharaoh king of Egypt is but a noise; he hath passed the time appointed. - They exclaimed vehemently against Pharaoh, to whose coward who are bad manager of their spiritual life, their defeat was owing to themselves. When Pharaoh promise them support when the enemy of there lifestyle was upon the borders of there country, it is probably that he told them he would within such a time come himself to there aid with a gallant army of his own subjects to support them; but he failed them, and, when the enemy advanced, they found they had none to fall back on, so that they were abandoned to the fury of the invaders.

It was not surprising that they quilted their post and deserted the service, crying out, Pharaoh king of Egypt is but a noise ; where is the promise the big talk of the mighty things he would do; he brings nothing to pass. All his promises to those he is in alliance with, or that are employed by him, vanish into thin air. He kept  none of the promise he engaged to bring.
He has passed the time appointed; he did not keep his word, nor keep his day, and therefore they bid him farewell, they will never serve under him any more. Those that make the most noise in any business are frequently but a noise; Great talkers are little doers.

Jeremiyah 46:18 As I live, saith the King, whose name is YAHVEH TSEBAOTE, Surely as Tabor is among the mountains, and as Carmel by the sea, so shall he come. – The formidable power of the Chaldean army is here described as bearing down all before it. The King of kings, whose name is YAHVEH TSEBAOTE, and before whom the mightiest kings on earth, though gods to us, are but as grasshoppers, he hath said it, he hath sworn it, As I live, saith this king, as Tabor overtops the mountains and Carmel overlooks the sea, so shall the king of Babylon overpower all the force of Egypt, such a command shall he have, such a sway shall he bear.

Jeremiyah 46:19 O thou daughter dwelling in Egypt, furnish thyself to go into captivity: for Noph shall be waste and desolate without an inhabitant.  He and his army shall come against Egypt with axes, as hewers of wood verse 22, and the Egyptians shall be no more able to resist them than the tree is to resist the man that comes with an axe to cut it down; so that Egypt shall be felled as a forest is by the hewers of wood, which (if there by many of them, and those well provided with instruments for the purpose) will be done in a little time. Egypt is very populous, full of towns and cities, like a forest, the trees of which cannot be searched or numbered, and very rich, full of hidden treasures, many of which will escape the searching eye of the Chaldean soldiers; but they shall make a great spoil in the country, for they are more than the locusts, that come in vast swarms and overrun a country, devouring every green thing (Joel 1:6, 7), so shall the Chaldeans do, for they are innumerable. YAHVEH TSEBAOTE hath numberless hosts at HIS command.

They shall be carried away prisoners into their enemy’s land: "O thou daughter! dwelling securely and delicately in Egypt, that fruitful pleasant country, do not think this will last always, but furnish thyself to go into captivity; instead of rich clothes, which will but tempt the enemy to strip thee, get plain and warm clothes; instead of fine shoes, provide strong ones; and inure thyself to hardship, that thou mayt bear it better.’’

It concerns us, among all our preparations, to prepare for trouble. We provide for the entertainment of our friends, let us not neglect to provide for the entertainment of our enemies, nor among all our furniture omit furniture for captivity. The Egyptians must prepare to flee; for their cities shall be evacuated. Noph particularly shall be desolate, without an inhabitant, so general shall the slaughter and the captivity be.

There are some penalties which, we say, the king and the multitude are exempted from, but here even these are obnoxious: The multitude of No shall be punished: it is called populous No, Nah. 3:8. Though hand join in hand, yet they shall not escape; nor can any think to go off in the crowd. Be they ever so many, they shall find YAHVEH TSEBAOTE will be too many for them.

Jeremiyah 46:20  Egypt is like a very fair heifer, but destruction cometh; it cometh out of the north. The desolation of Egypt is foretold, and the waste that should be made of that rich country. Egypt is now like a very fair heifer, or calf, fat and shining, and not accustomed to the yoke of subjection, wanton as a heifer that is well fed, and very sportfull. Some think is an allusion to Apis, the bull or calf which the Egyptians worshiped, from whom the children of Yisrael learned to worship the golden calf. Egypt is as fair as a goddess, and adores herself, but destruction comes; cutting up comes (so some read it); it comes out of the north; thence the Chaldean soldiers shall come, as so many butchers or sacrifices, to kill and cut up this fair heifer.

Jeremiyah 46:21 Also her hired men are in the midst of her like fatted bullocks; for they also are turned back, and are fled away together: they did not stand, because the day of their calamity was come upon them, and the time of their visitation.

Jeremiyah 46:22 The voice thereof shall go like a serpent; for they shall march with an army, and come against her with axes, as hewers of wood. -  He and his army shall come against Egypt with axes, as hewers of wood, and the Egyptians shall be no more able to resist them than the tree is to resist the man that comes with an axe to cut it down;  so that Egypt shall be felled as a forest is by the hewers of wood, which (if there by many of them, and those well provided with instruments for the purpose) will be done in a little time.

Jeremiyah 46:23 They shall cut down her forest, saith ABBA YAHVEH, though it cannot be searched; because they are more than the grasshoppers, and are innumerable. - Egypt is very populous, full of towns and cities, like a forest, the trees of which cannot be searched or numbered, and very rich, full of hidden treasures, many of which will escape the searching eye of the Chaldean soldiers; but they shall make a great spoil in the country, for they are more than the locusts, that come in vast swarms and overrun a country, devouring every green thing (Joel 1:6, 7), so shall the Chaldeans do, for they are innumerable. YAHVEH TSEBAOTE hath numberless hosts at HIS command.

Jeremiyah 46:24 The daughter of Egypt shall be confounded; she shall be delivered into the hand of the people of the north. - The desolation of Egypt hereby is foretold, and the waste that should be made of that rich country. Egypt is now like a very fair heifer, or calf , fat and shining, and not accustomed to the yoke of subjection, wanton as a heifer that is well fed, and very sportful.
Some think here is an allusion to Apis, the bull or calf which the Egyptians worshiped, from whom the children of Yisrael learned to worship the golden calf. Egypt is as fair as a goddess, and adores herself, but destruction comes; cutting up comes (so some read it); it comes out of the north; thence the Chaldean soldiers shall come, as so many butchers or sacrifices, to kill and cut up this fair heifer.

The Egyptians shall be brought down, shall be tamed, and their tune changed: The daughters of Egypt shall be confounded , shall be filled with astonishment. Their voice shall go like a serpent, that is, it shall be very low and submissive; they shall not low like a fair heifer, that makes a great noise, but hiss out of their holes like serpents. They shall not dare to make loud complaints of the cruelty of the conquerors, but vent their griefs in silent murmurs. They shall not now, as they used to do, answer roughly, but, with the poor, use entreaties and beg for their lives.

Jeremiyah 46:25 YAHVEH TSEBAOTE, the EL of Yisrael, saith; Behold, I will punish the multitude of No, and Pharaoh, and Egypt, with their gods, and their kings; even Pharaoh, and all them that trust in him:  - The Egyptians must prepare to flee; for their cities shall be evacuated. Their kings and all their petty princes shall fall; and their gods too (ch. 43:12, 13), their idols and their great men. Those which they call their tutelar deities shall be no protection to them. Pharaoh shall be brought down, and all those that trust in him, particularly the Jews that came to sojourn in his country, trusting in him rather than in YAHVEH.

Jeremiyah 46:26And I will deliver them into the hand of those that seek their lives, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of his servants: and afterward it shall be inhabited, as in the days of old, saith. – An intimation is given that in process of time Egypt shall recover itself again: Afterwards it shall be inhabited, shall be peopled again, whereas by this destruction it was almost unpopulated. Ezekiel foretells that this should be at the end of forty years, Eze. 29:13. See what changes the nations of the earth are subject to, how they are emptied and increased again; and let not nations that prosper be secure, nor those that for the present are in thraldom despair.

Jeremiyah 46:27But fear not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be not dismayed, O Yisrael: for, behold, I will save thee from afar off, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make him afraid. - Comfort and peace are here spoken to the Yisrael of YAHVEH. Some understand it of those whom the king of Egypt had carried into captivity with Jehoahaz, but we read not of any that were carried away captives with him; it may therefore rather refer to the captives in Babylon, whom YAHVEH had mercy in store for, or, more generally, to all the people of YAHVEH, designed for their encouragement in the most difficult times, when the judgments of YAHVEH are abroad among the nations. We had these words of comfort before, ch. 30:10, 11.
Let the wicked of the earth tremble, they have cause for it; but fear not thou, O my servant Jacob! and be not dismayed, O Yisrael! and again, Fear thou not, O Jacob! YAHVEH would not have his people to be a timorous people.

Jeremiyah 46:28 Fear thou not, O Jacob my servant, saith ABBA YAHVEH: for I am with thee; for I will make a full end of all the nations whither I have driven thee: but I will not make a full end of thee, but correct thee in measure; yet will I not leave thee wholly unpunished. - The wicked of the earth shall be put away like dross, not be looked after any more; but YAH’s people, in order to their being saved, shall be found out and gathered together, they shall be redeemed though they be held fast in captivity, and shall return. The wicked is like the troubled sea when it cannot rest; they flee when none pursues. But Jacob, being at home in YAHVEH, shall be at rest and at ease, and none shall make him afraid; for what time he is afraid he has a EL to trust to.
The wicked god is afar off; but, wherever thou art, O Jacob! I am with thee, a very present help.  A full end shall be made of the nations that oppressed YAH’s Israel, as Egypt and Babylon; but mercy shall be kept in store for the Yisrael of YAHVEH: they shall be corrected, but not cast off; the correction shall be in measure, in respect of degree and continuance. Nations have their periods; the Jewish nation itself has come to an end as a nation; but the gospel church, YAH’s spiritual Yisrael, still continues, and will to the end of time; in that this promise is to have its full accomplishment, that, though YAHVEH correct it, he will never make a full end of it.

Brit Chadasha
                                               Gilyahna Revelation 19:1-16

In this chapter we have,
I. A further account of the triumphant song of angels and saints for the fall of Babylon verse 1-4.
II. The marriage between Messiyah and the Wise Virgins proclaimed and perfected verse 5–10.
III. Another warlike expedition of the glorious head and husband of the Messiyanic Yisrael, with the success of it verse 10, etc.

Revelation 19:1 And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honor, and power, unto ABBA YAHVEH our EL. – The fall of Babylon being fixed, finished, and declared to be irrecoverable in the foregoing chapter, this begins with a holy triumph over her, in pursuance of the order given forth: Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and you holy apostles and prophets, ch. 18:20. They now gladly answer the call; and here you have.
The form of their thanksgiving, in that heavenly and most comprehensive word, Alleluia, praise YAHVEH: with this they begin, with this they go on, and with this they end verse 4; their prayers are now turned into praises, their hosannas end in halleluias.

Revelation 19:2 For true and righteous are His judgments: for He hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of His servants at her hand. – The matter of their thanksgiving: they praise him for the truth of his word, and the righteousness of his providential conduct, especially in this great event, the ruin of Babylon, which had been a mother, nurse, and nest of idolatry, lewdness, and cruelty, for which signal example of divine justice they ascribe salvation, and glory, and honor, and power, unto our EL.

Revelation 19:3 And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever. – The effect of these their praises: when the angels and saints cried Alleluia, her fire burned more fiercely and her smoke ascended for ever and ever. The surest way to have our deliverances continued and completed is to give YAHVEH the glory of what he has done for us. Praising YAHVEH for what we have is praying in the most effectual manner for what is yet further to be done for us; the praises of the saints blow up the fire of YAH’s wrath against the common enemy.

Revelation 19:4 And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia. –  The blessed harmony between the angels and the saints in this triumphant song. The Messiyanic Assembly and their ministers take the melodious sound from the angels, and repeat it; falling down, and worshiping YAHVEH, they cry, Amen, Alleluia.

Revelation 19:5  And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our EL, all ye HIS servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great. –

Revelation 19:6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for YAHVEH EL-OLAM  reigneth. - The triumphant song being ended, or marriage-song, begins. Here observe,
The concert of heavenly music. The chorus was large and loud, as the voice of many waters and of mighty thundering. YAHVEH is fearful in praises. There is no discord in heaven; the morning stars sing together; no jarring string, nor key untuned, but pure and perfect melody.

Revelation 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. – The occasion of this song; and that is the reign and dominion of that omnipotent EL who has redeemed His Bride, His church whom He purchase by His own blood, and is now in a more public manner betrothing her to Himself: The marriage of the Lamb has come, Messiyah is now ready to drink the forth cup of wine, which He promise not to drine until He sees us in the Kingdom to come. This is the purpose of the whole of creation, when the brides are furnish for the Bridegroom.

Revelation 19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. – You have here a description of the bride, how she appeared; not in the gay and gaudy dress of the mother of harlots, but in fine linen, clean and white, which is the righteousness of saints; in the robes of Messiyah’s righteousness, both imputed for justification and imparted for sanctification, the white robe of absolution, adoption, and enfranchisement, and the white robe of purity and universal holiness. She had washed her robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb; and these her nuptial ornaments she did not purchase by any price of her own, but received them as the gift and grant of her blessed Master Yahushua.

Revelation 19:9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of YAHVEH. – The marriage-feast, which, though not particularly described (as Mt. 22:4), yet is declared to be such as would make all those happy who were called to it, so called as to accept the invitation, a feast made up of the promises of the gospel, the true sayings of ABBA YAHVEH. These promises, opened, applied, sealed, and earnested by the Spirit of YAHVEH, the forth cup of wine at Passover is the marriage-feast; and the whole collective body of all those who partake of this feast is the bride, the wise virgins, the Lamb’s wife; they eat into one body, and drink into one Spirit, and are not mere spectators or guests, but coalesce into the espoused party, the mystical body of Messiyah.

Revelation 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Yahushua: worship YAHVEH: for the testimony of Yahushua is the spirit of prophecy. - The transport of joy which the apostle felt in himself at this vision. He fell down at the feet of the angel, to worship him, supposing him to be more than a creature, or having his thoughts at the present overpowered by the vehemency of his affections. Here observe,

(1.) What honor he offered to the angel: He fell at his feet, to worship him; this prostration was a part of external worship, it was a posture of proper adoration.
(2.) How the angel refused it, and this was with some resentment: "See thou do it not; have a care what thou doest, thou art doing a wrong thing.’’
(3.) He gave a very good reason for his refusal: "I am thy fellow-servant, and of thy brethren which have the testimony of Messiyah, I am a creature, thine equal in office, though not in nature; I, as an angel and messenger of YAHVEH, have the testimony of Messiyah, a charge to be a witness for Him and to testify concerning Him, and thou, as an apostle, having the Spirit of prophecy, hast the same testimony to give in; and therefore we are in this brethren and fellow-servants.’’
(4.) He directs him to the true and only object of religious worship; namely, YAHVEH: "Worship YAHVEH, and HIM alone.’’ This fully condemns both the practice of the papists in worshipping the elements of bread and wine, and saints, and angels, and the practice of those Socinians and Arians who do not believe that Messiyah is truly and by nature EL, and yet pay Him religious worship; and this shows what wretched fig-leaves all their evasions and excuses are which they offer in their own vindication: they stand hereby convicted of idolatry by a messenger from heaven.

Revelation 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.- No sooner was the marriage solemnized between Bridegroom and the Wise Virgins the glorious head and husband of the church is called out to a new expedition, which seems to be the great battle that was to be fought at Armageddon, foretold ch. 16:16. And here observe,
The description of the great Commander,
1. By the seat of his empire; and that is heaven; His throne is there, and His power and authority are heavenly and divine.
2. His equipage: he is again described as sitting on a white horse, to show the equity of the cause, and certainty of success.
3. His attributes: He is faithful and true to His covenant and promise, He is righteous in all His judicial and military proceedings, He has a penetrating insight into all the strength and stratagems of His enemies, He has a large and extensive dominion, many crowns, for He is King of kings, and Lord of lords.

Revelation 19:12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.   The description of His glorious Person continues. That His eyes were as a flame of fire indicates penetrating scrutinizing omniscience. On that blessed head, once crowned at Calvary for sinful men, were many crowns. His is supreme authority. Saints have crowns; He has many crowns. The Roman beast 13:1, has crowns also, but only because He assumes absolute authority. But how can one head have many crowns? They are in tiers, one above another, indicating highest majesty and authority. Many things have been divulged in the Apocalypse so far, and more will follow to the end of the book; but there are certain elements which must remain hidden from man, Deut 29:29. From scriptural usage it is known that the name written indicates His own essential glory, which expresses the fullness of His divine nature.

Revelation 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of YAHVEH. - His armour; and that is a vesture dipped in blood, either his own blood, by which he purchased this mediatorial power, or the blood of his enemies, over whom he has always prevailed. His name: The Word of YAHVEH, a name that none fully knows but himself, only this we know, that this Word was YAHVEH manifest in the flesh; but His perfections are incomprehensible by any creature.

Revelation 19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. – Who are the armies … upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean? Good men differ as to their identity. All are agreed that they are believers, redeemed ones; some even include the angels. It appears that they are, first, the church, second, the Tribulation saints, then the pre Messiah saints. Jude 14–15 will then be fulfilled.

Revelation 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of YAHVEH EL-ELYON. - The weapons of His warfare, A sharp two edged sword proceeding from his mouth, which is the Word of YAHVEH, with which He smites the nations, either the threatening of the written word, which now He is going to execute, or rather His word of command calling on His followers to take a just revenge on His and their enemies, who are now put into the wine-press of the wrath of YAHVEH, to be trodden under foot by HIM.

Revelation 19:16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. - The ensigns of his authority, his coat of arms, a name written on His vesture and thigh, King of kings, and EL of Elohim, asserting His authority and power, and the cause of the quarrel.

Revelation 19:17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the Great EL; - An invitation given to the fowls of heaven, that they should come and see the battle, and share in the spoil and pillage of the field, intimating that this great decisive engagement should leave the enemies of the church a feast for the birds of prey, and that all the world should have cause to rejoice in the issue of it.

Revelation 19:18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. –

Revelation 19:19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. - The battle joined. The enemy falls on with great fury, headed by the beast, and the kings of the earth; the powers of earth and hell gathered, to make their utmost effort.
The victory gained by the great and glorious head of the Messiyanic Assembly: The beast and the false prophet, the leaders of the army, are taken prisoners, both he who led them by power and he who led them by policy and falsehood; these are taken and cast into the burning lake, made incapable of molesting the church of YAHVEH any more; and their followers, whether officers or common soldiers, are given up to military execution, and made a feast for the fowls of heaven.

Though the divine vengeance will chiefly fall upon the beast, and the false prophet, yet it will be no excuse to those who fight under their banner that they only followed their leaders and obeyed their command; since they would fight for them, they must fall and perish with them. Be wise now therefore, O you kings, be instructed, you rulers of the earth; kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish from the way, Ps. 2:10, 12.
