In the name of Yahushua
Our Messiyah,
I pray for the Spirit of Understanding
The Spirit pf Knowledge and
The Spirit of Wisdom
As I read through this Parasha
That the Truth of Torah may
Come forth. Amen

This Torah Portion “Beha’alotcha” meaning “When you ascend,” which begins with the line: “And YAHVEH spoke to Moses, saying, When you light the Menorah, the seven lamps shall give light in the front of the Menorah.

When Aaron lit the Menorah in the Tabernacle, at the request of the CREATOR, Aaron actually brought the Upper World to the lower world, and that light is what will continue to shine until Messiyah return. It just happened that after the death of Messiyah Yahushua in the year 61 ad, the central lamp of the Menorah could not stay lit until the Temple was destroyed 40 years later.

Every spiritual act that reveals light has a physical manifestation, but there is a much greater level of satisfaction available to us in the knowledge that we are revealing light from the upper world.

When we focus our attention on the upper world it produces a shift in our consciousness, suddenly it is not how many people we help or whether or not we have the approval of others does not even cross our mind, for in the Heavenly Kingdom humility rules supreme.

What is the character of believers who place their emphasis on the Spiritual Kingdom? Humility! In this Torah Portion Beha’alotcha, the Torah says: ‘the man Moses was very humble, the most humble man on the face of the earth at that time.’

The beauty of the gift of humility is that it is available to all. Anyone can be humble, through discipline, just look at the Buddha Monks. But paradoxically, true humility is perhaps the most difficult thing to achieve in this world, which makes the insights of the Torah Portion of Beha’alotcha so valuable.

True spiritually humility comes from a human heart that has his or her ego reprogram by the operating system of the Holy Spirit and the application program of the Torah. The development of the Menorah in our lives is such an operating system, as we experience the sixth days of creation, we will have our mind or our ego reprogrammed.

The discussion of the Menorah comes right after the discussion pertaining to the Nazarite vow, and twelve leaders present their offerings at the Temple. Torah is setting the stage by outlining the steps to building our Menorah spiritually.

These offerings by the leaders serve the function of giving thanks for being able to dedicate (Nazarite vow) or rededicate one self for the service of EL YAHVEH.

The cleaning and preparing the Lamps of the Menorah each day required that they removed literally or virtually everyday, the previous day burnt wick. Those things that we experience and have been processed into our lives, we leave them and press on towards the next day process, a new wick, and a new experience.

Naso

Parashas NASO
Numbers 4:21 – 7:89

Please Pray this
Prayer
First before reading.

In the name of Yahushua
Our Messiyah,
I pray for the Spirit of Understanding
The Spirit of Knowledge and
The Spirit of Wisdom
As I read through this Parashas

This Torah Portion is called Naso, it is the 34 th Torah Portion, it means to “lift up,” it takes its name from the first word of the second verse of the Hebrew, which say: “lift up the heads of the sons of Gershon,” referring to the CREATOR’S desire to have the sons of Gershon counted amoung those who would received an inheritance.

The importance of the Sabbath of Naso is connected to the fact that it follows, Pentecost “Shavuot,” which itself has such phenomenal energy that it is divided into two parts.

Some Torah teachers teach that on the night before Pentecost “Shavuot,” we are given a larger heart, a greater ability to truly experience a greater appreciation for the Light of the creator. This is the night when the Creator gives us the greater ability, that was negotiated on the day of atonement. The night before Shavuot, we are given the faculties with which to experience the coming blessing of Pentecost, or in other words the spirit or light of the next day of Creation.

We need the First day of creation, inorder to experience the second day, much like a child going from Kindergarden to grade one. We are given instruction and an amazingly powerful new spiritual tool on Shavuot, but many of us do not realize what we have until we read the Torah Portion of Naso.

The Torah reading of Passover discuss the giving of the Torah on Mt. Sinai. We also learn from the Haftarah, a section of the Book of Prophets, following the Torah Portion. This Haftarah for Shavuot speaks of Ezekiel’s vision of the angels, when he is actually sensing the light of the CREATOR.
When we connect the Light of the Torah reading with the light of the Haftarah and the BritChadash we are connecting them with the Tree of Life. The next step after that is to establish this connection as a constant in our lives through our new power of prophecy, the power of been able to give and received messages from the Light of the CREATOR.

Now that we have realize what was and is still been given to us on Pentecost “Shavuot,” we can see why the Sabbath of Naso follow Pentecost, it provides us with time to absorb and to connect to these revelations. This revelation is not further information, but an opportunity to increace our visual range of the same information. It is like the morning sun, that become progressively brighter every hour until it reaches its apex at noon.

The gift of tasting of the Light of the CREATOR is given to us on Shavuot, and to manifest it, to truly make it a part of our life, we cannot be content with who we were last Torah Cycle. We do not want the Sabbath of Naso to simply pass us by, but we should let the experience of this Sabbath see us going from glory to glory. We must become a new person, one who sense, feels, taste, and see the brighter Light of the Creator in everything we experience. This is the opportunity we are given on the Sabbath of Naso.

This Parashas continue the task of counting the families of Levites and assigning them to their respective responsibilities. In the last Parashas we saw the first of the Levites family the Kohathites had been counted before, and the Torah goes on to assign responsibility to the other families.
